Smart G and G cloud is a technological solution whose objective is to provide industrial maintenance services related to its components (clutch-brakes and gearboxes). It is a cyber-physical system that monitors in real time the condition of the Goizper-Guibe component, and through embedded intelligence, which aids decision-making estimating future performance and preventing possible breakdowns. All this enables to minimise the probability of machine downtimes and proactively schedule maintenance with the resulting reduction in costs.
The Smart G device, operating in edge computing mode, compiles the critical parameters of the process and those related to the condition, pre-processing those parameters and, based on algorithms designed for that purpose, offers a first level of supervision and support to the machine level decision. Moreover, the value information recorded locally may be sent remotely to a cloud platform (G cloud) where the user can access all the historical information related to the use of its component.
This device plays a fundamental role in the implementation of Industry 4.0: the local and remote capture and transmission of information regarding the status of the machine components and industrial processes in order to reduce unplanned downtimes and increase the availability of the equipment.
